          Founded Black Mom Resource

          2015

Born out of a Facebook Group. Black Mom Resource has grown into a community, directory service, podcast, and more to help moms excel in their parenting journey with parenting tips, support, and education. Black Mom Resource is a member of the current cohort of WiSTEM out of 1871 and iFundWomen of Color.

          Founded Black Tech Moms

          2019

In 2019, I realized that there were mom communities that focused on women in tech but there wasn't space specifically for black moms in tech, after initial research instead of creating a subgroup of a larger community I landed on Black Tech Moms.

        • Founder at Black Mom Resource and Black Tech Moms

As a Mom of 3 working in tech the challenges of being seen, heard, and supported are real.

With the realization that no one else was going to create a space for women like me to have community, I started my own with 600+ women.

I'm passionate about advocating for moms, diversity and inclusion, and spending the time that I have on this earth well. I love storytelling, product management, and studying new cultures.
